As an internet business, we realise that shipping costs can sometimes turn a bargain into a somewhat less attractive purchase. As such, we have tried to find a solution that works fairly for both you and us. We want you guys to be happy with the products you order and shipping charges incurred in getting your order delivered.
We have standard shipping charges set into our website and weve tried to make these as fair as possible. However, sometimes it just doesnt seem to add up. If that happens just drop us a line and well be happy to recalculate your freight cost on the time proven system of common sense. This way, you only pay for the shipping cost actually incurred.
All orders shipped to Australian metro areas with a value of $300.00 or more will be completely freight free (if shipped via our standard shipping method). Please note our webpage cannot calculate the free freight shipping charge on items over $300 automatically. This done manually by our staff, and will be removed before you are charged for your order.
We've recently reviewed our freight costs to give customers more options and fairer pricing. Our country customers will find the freight cost on smaller orders far more reasonable. On the flip side our country customers will now notice that freight costs on larger orders have increased a little.
All orders to a value of less than $300.00 will be charged at a rate according to location:
Australian Volleyball Warehouse uses a combination of Australia Post and courier companies to handle its freight requirements. Please always ensure someone will be at your shipping address during working hours to receive your order. Should your order be shipped via courier a signature will be required as proof of delivery.
Generally speaking small orders will be shipped via Australia Post and larger orders will be shipped via courier. Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to variations in destination.
Express Post services are also available to Australian customers at extra cost. Please contact us directly to upgrade your shipping to Express Post and we can let you know exactly what the cost will be.
International orders are always sent via insured airmail with Australia Post. Customers may choose between Economy Air or Express Air after considering cost and time implications. International shipping rates and times for all global regions can be found in our "International Orders" area.

Customers who prefer to send their orders via fax or mail can do so with ease. Simply follow the usual checkout process and choose to confirm payment by fax. Please print out the order form provided and remember to include all relevant details.
Schools, government organisations and major corporations are welcome to make purchases on 14 day account when using an official purchase order. Simply follow the usual checkout process and choose to confirm payment by fax. Then print out the order form provided and fax this to AVW along with your signed purchase order. Please don't forget the purchase order to avoid any delays.

Obviously this guarentee can't apply to customised products though. So please be sensible and make sure you have everything 100% correct on your custom gear BEFORE you purchase. If unsure we will be happy to send you an email proof of your customised products for approval prior to printing.

Any product not available at the time of ordering will be placed onto our backorder list. At this point the customer will be contacted by phone or email to alert them to the delay and discuss other products which may replace the original order. Any product on the backorder list will be removed after 60 days and the customer will be notified of its unavailability. Backorders are charged at the time of ordering. Other items ordered will be shipped immediately, they will not be delayed by backorders. Once a backordered product becomes available it will be shipped via express mail at no extra cost to the customer.
