New training DVD's available now!

AVW have just imported a range of awesome training DVD's from the USA.

Featuring many of the top US college coaches these dvd's contain the sort of learning materials Australian coaches have never had access to before.

We have bought in about 15 titles so far. They are so good we are already planning to increase the range.

There are two main difference between these DVD's and the books we have been selling in the past. Firstly, these are made by top level volleyball coaches who actually use the exercises shown on a daily basis. Secondly, they are far more technical in that they teach advanced techniques and strategies not basic fundamentals. They show the sorts of things that simply cannot be explained clearly in a printed book.

 

Mizuno to bring back the Wave Spike!

We have just sorted the new Mizuno indoor range for '07/'08 and have some great news! Mizuno have agreed to give us the Wave Spike again.

It gets better though...they're gonna send it in the next shipment to Australia. We should have it for the start of the 2007 Indoor season!!! The Blocker will get yet another cosmetic update in late 2007, as will the Wave Thunder.

No pics are available of the new Wave Spike 10 just yet cause Japan hasn't confirmed which colour way we will be getting. As soon as something is available we will chuck it up here for everyone to drool over.

Joust International Antenna

Joust have done it again! They have just released a truely international standard volleyball antenna at an affordable price.

The new antenna works using the same clamp style attachments at the top and bottom of the net that are found on the Asics antenna. On first look it seems very similar to the Senoh antenna...that's because it's actually exactly the same antenna.

That's right the Joust and Senoh antenna's are both made side-by-side in exactly the same factory, only the stickers are different. So if you want a truely international product that was designed to meet FIVB standards you don't have to pay the higher price any more.

Finally a scoreboard that counts to 99 for each team, includes set scores, has numbers that NEVER rip and a price tag that won't break the bank. We have been as frustrated by inadequate and overpriced scoreboards as you have. Finally an alternative has arrived.

Joust are offering a lifetime warranty against breakage for the numbers on these scoreboards. They are made of a high density poly product and are about 2mm thick each. Indestructible!
